Company

In 1918, August Paul Gronemeyer opened his company in Dusseldorf (Germany) to manufacture chains and elevators. His founding capital: craftsmanship and a good bit of entrepreneurial spirit.

After all production facilities had been destroyed by the effects of war, in 1945 the rebuilding of the company began in Hoexter at the river Weser.

In 1967, the first generation change took place in the company management. Following the recipe for success of the company founder, the son Günter Gronemeyer expanded the production capacity and product range.

In the middle of the 70s, the design and manufacture of conveyor systems was started. Especially in the food and beverage industry, but also in industries such as the pharmaceutical industry and the glass industry, our conveyor systems are a byword for functional reliability and durability.

International business connections have made this reputation known even beyond Germany's borders.

By handing over the management of the company to Peter Gronemeyer in 1994, the continuity of the family business was preserved. Customer focus, high quality standards and delivery reliability are the basis for the successful existence of our company. The implementation of a quality assurance system ensures a high quality standard of Gronemeyer products.

The production facilities of our drive element manufacturing enable a vertical range of manufacture required for customized machine construction. This is particularly advantageous with regard to the high availability of machine-specific spare parts. The backbone of our company is a well-coordinated team of experienced designers and engineers. Their knowledge and commitment enables us to project and execute complex large-scale installations from the first layout to the handover of the turnkey plant to the customer.
