2 zone cooling system with connection
We have recently completed a project in which mascarpone and ricotta products are cooled in a continuous flow. The cups are taken over after the filler and transferred cooled down to the packaging machine. Various types of our conveyor technology are installed in this line: spirals, synchro distributors, mat chain conveyors, etc. However, the centerpiece of this project is our spiral continuous cooler.
Product sizes from 250 g to 2 kg are cooled down to the desired core temperature in 4 hours. Up to 8 tons of product are in the system during this cooling process. Due to the high filling temperature of over 80°C, we have planned a two-stage cooling process. In the first cooling zone, we use brine as the cooling medium to achieve a room temperature of 8°C. In the second zone, we work with NH3 and have a room temperature of 1°C.
